Sun Down Mida Creek

Mida creek is a 55 km stretch of water inland of Watamu that connects into the open ocean.

It is the nursery for pelagic fish and home to turtles, fish eagles and various types of birds with a colony of flamingos that add a splash of colour to the creek.

It is 5 minutes’ walk from Mapacha Village where we offer water safaris with our boat where you can enjoy a sundowner drink and experience some of the tasty Swahili dishes.
